Host Singlescan Events in Your Area

Help singles meet in real life

Host Singlescan events in your area.

Want to build an ongoing Singlescan community, or already have an event idea ready to go? There are two simple ways to get involved.

Help singles meet in the real world — through drinks, walks, dinners, activities, social events or something new in your area.

Become a Singlescan Advocate

Choose this if you want an ongoing role — hosting events, building a local community and helping Singlescan grow in your area.

Submit / List an Event

Already have a specific event, group or idea you want Singlescan to consider? Send us the details and we will review it with you.

Submit an Event

Important: submitting an event does not publish it automatically. Singlescan reviews each submission before it is approved or listed publicly.

To reduce no-shows and protect hosts' time, Singlescan-managed events that would otherwise be free normally have a small A$5 commitment and processing fee. We agree pricing with each host before listing. Independent organisers keep control of their own event pricing.

One night. Many cities.

Friday 27 November 2026 — 6:30 pm

Our first big goal is to have Singlescan events happening in multiple locations on the same night.

Melbourne. Sydney. Brisbane. Adelaide. Perth. Regional Australia — and wherever the right people step forward.

We need local people who can host these events, bring singles together and help create something worth coming back to.

There are two ways to be involved.

Being a Singlescan Advocate can mean different things. You might host events, build a local community, bring an existing group with you, promote Singlescan in your area or come to us with your own idea.

1. Host Singlescan events

This is our main focus.

You might host drinks, walks, dinners, MTB rides, gaming nights, hiking, coffee meetups, live music, social activities or something completely different.

You can use the Singlescan name, wear the heart, build your local community and help us create regular Singlescan events in your area.

If you have energy, ideas and want to help singles meet in real life, we want to hear from you.

2. Already run a singles group or event?

We want to work with you too.

You do not have to give up your own name or community. We can help more people discover your events, spread awareness and bring new singles into what you are already building.

Your group can stay yours — and Singlescan can help it grow.

Submit an event for review

And if you have a new idea for bringing singles together, we are all for it. You know your area. You know what your people might enjoy. Bring the idea and let us see how we can help make it happen.

Why get involved?

We want to build this with people who genuinely care about helping singles connect.

As Singlescan grows, we want the people who genuinely help build successful events and communities to grow with us. There may be opportunities for the right Advocates to take on a bigger role in Singlescan as we expand.

We’re not setting out all of those opportunities publicly yet — we’ll discuss them directly with the people who show real passion, commitment and contribution.

Build something valuable. Help people meet. Grow with us.

Questions about becoming an Advocate

We know people will want to understand how this works before putting their hand up. Here are the main answers.

Why become a Singlescan Advocate?

Because you want to help singles meet in the real world or find your own person and you believe there is a better way than swiping. You may host Singlescan events, build a local community, bring people together around activities you already love, or help an existing group grow.

What are the benefits?

You get the opportunity to help and connect people, build events and community with the support of Singlescan behind you — including promotion, event visibility, systems and tools as they are rolled out, and access to the wider Singlescan network. We also want strong long-term contributors to have the opportunity to grow into larger roles as Singlescan grows. The final Advocate benefit and equity structures are still being developed and will be discussed directly with suitable people.

Do Singlescan Advocates get paid?

Potentially — it depends on what you would like to build. We foresee many volunteer, community-based roles and we are 100% supportive of that. Larger or paid Singlescan events may also provide opportunities for Hosts to earn from the event or receive an agreed Host payment. The arrangement would be discussed clearly before the event goes ahead.

Do I have to run Singlescan-branded events?

Hosting official Singlescan events is our main focus, especially as we build towards larger coordinated events such as Friday 27 November. But it is not the only way to work with us. Existing groups can keep their own name and branding while working with Singlescan.

I already run a singles group. Will Singlescan take over my group or my people?

No. We want to add value to what you have built, not take it away from you. Your existing group stays your group. Singlescan can help more people discover your events and community. If someone separately joins or registers through Singlescan, that relationship is handled through the relevant Singlescan signup or event process.

Can I bring my own event idea?

Yes. Drinks are only one format. Walks, MTB rides, gaming, dinners, hiking, sailing, coffee, live music, sports and other ideas are all welcome. If it helps singles meet safely and naturally in the real world, we want to hear it.

What if I am outside Australia?

We still want to hear from you. Singlescan is being built to grow internationally. Tell us your country, city and what you would like to do. We will assess suitable events and support country by country as the systems, payments, safety requirements and local operating arrangements are put in place.

Do I need event-hosting experience?

No. Experience helps, especially if you already run a community, but attitude matters too. We are looking for reliable people who communicate well, care about singles and actually follow through on what they say they will do.

Do I have to buy or wear Singlescan clothing?

No. For official Singlescan events we do want the heart to be visible and recognisable, and Hosts wearing the heart is one simple way to make that happen. Exact Host arrangements will be discussed with approved Advocates.

What happens after I apply?

We review your application, your area, your ideas and any existing community you already have. If it looks like a good fit, we contact you to discuss the next step, including whether you want to host an official Singlescan event, work alongside us with your own group, or both.

A different opportunity

Want to help build the system behind all of this?

We are also looking for one exceptional Australian-based person to help build and manage the systems, people and operations behind Singlescan.

This is a founding-level opportunity with potential significant equity — not a conventional job application.

Victoria is preferred, but the right person matters more than the postcode.

Not ready to host?

You can still help.

Wear the heart. Start a conversation.

No swiping. Real people. Real life.
